On April 11, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for strong winds, a blue warning for blizzards, a blue warning for heavy rainstorms, and a blue warning for sandstorms. At the same time, it upgraded to issue a yellow warning for strong convective weather.

North China and Inner Mongolia: Prevent strong winds that can reach level 13

According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, on April 11, local gusts in central and western Inner Mongolia and northern Hebei can reach level 12 to level 13.

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning for strong winds at 6:00 on April 11: From 8:00 on April 12 to 8:00 on April 13, local gusts of wind can reach level 12 to level 13 in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, northern Hebei, western Beijing and northern mountainous areas.

Meteorological experts remind that high-altitude and water outdoor operations and recreational activities should be stopped, dangerous outdoor power sources should be cut off, reinforced or properly placed fences, trellis billboards, simple facilities and other buildings that are easily blown by strong winds; try not to go out, and pedestrians and vehicles should not stay under temporary buildings such as tall buildings, billboards or trees.

Five southern provinces: Beware of the impact of thunderstorms and strong winds above level 10

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that on April 11, there will be thunderstorms and strong winds above level 10 in some areas of eastern Hubei, southern Anhui, northeastern Hunan, northern Jiangxi, and northwestern Fujian, with the maximum wind force reaching above level 11.

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for heavy rain at 10:00 on April 11, and also upgraded the yellow warning for strong convective weather: It is expected that heavy rainstorms will occur in eastern Hunan and central Jiangxi in local areas, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, and local areas such as thunderstorms, strong winds or hail. It is expected that the main impact period of strong convection will be from afternoon to midnight on the 11th.

Meteorological experts remind that drivers should pay attention to road water accumulation and traffic congestion to ensure safety; outdoor personnel should reduce or suspend outdoor operations in open places; inspect the drainage systems of cities, farmland, and fish ponds, and make drainage measures and prepare for defense against mountain torrents, landslides, mudslides and other disasters.

Inner Mongolia and Northeast: Prevent heavy snowfall with new snow accumulation up to 20 cm

Inner Mongolia and some parts of Northeast China need to prevent the impact of heavy snowfall. The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue blizzard warning at 10:00 on April 11: It is expected that heavy to blizzards will occur in some areas such as central and eastern Inner Mongolia, western Heilongjiang, northeastern Tibet, and central western Sichuan Plateau, among which there will be heavy blizzards in some areas in eastern Inner Mongolia.

Meteorological experts remind pedestrians to pay attention to cold and anti-slip, drivers drive carefully, and vehicles should take anti-slip measures; agricultural and pastoral areas and breeding industries should store feed and prepare for snow disasters and frost damage; reinforce temporary buildings such as trellis that are easily crushed by snow.

Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and Gansu: Be prepared to prevent sandstorms
